Portraits are done in chalk pastel, which is basically a pure pigment with very little binder added.  These paintings do not yellow or crack & if framed properly under glass, to prevent smudging, will last indefinitely without signs of aging.  Portraits can be painted from photographs or from life.  The size of a head and shoulders portrait painted on canson paper is approximately 16" x 20" and cost $400.00 unframed.  Postage & handling or photography work costs extra.
